What is recorded here
Located on a gentle S-facing slope. The medieval parish church (WX041-008015-) of Taghmon was probably located where the present St. Munna’s Church of Ireland church is now situated, c. 100m to the N of what was probably the original St. Munna’s church (WX041-008003-). There is no evidence of an older structure in the sub-rectangular graveyard (dims c. 40-50m E-W; c. 35-40m N-S) defined by masonry walls, but the head and base of a high cross (WX041-008002-) are in the graveyard.
