What is recorded here

A sub-rectangular graveyard (dims. c. 35m N-S; c. 40m E-W, narrowing to the S to c. 30m) enclosed by a stone wall. The medieval church (KK028-013001-), orientated E-W, is located roughly centrally within the graveyard, with a residential tower (KK028-013002-) immediately N of the chancel. Most of the updating headstones are located S of the church. The graveyard is accessed via a laneway from the public road c. 70m to the N.   Compiled by: Jean Farrelly
Medieval Christian graveyard associated with a church, likely 13th to 16th century. It represents a typical ecclesiastical burial ground of the late medieval period in Ireland.
