Grave Yard in County Cork, Ireland holds a steep SE-facing slope where an oblong stone-walled yard has accepted the dead since the 1830s. Ross priory ruins stand at the north end, and a holy well is built into the west wall, giving the place a rare mixture of burial, prayer and memory. People may have walked this narrow ground for generations, carrying grief to water and stone before laying their lost ones beside older shadows.

On steep SE-facing slope, oblong yard (110m N-S; 125m E-W) enclosed by stone wall. In use; inscribed headstones date from 1830s.
