Grave Yard in County Kilkenny is a small, old Catholic burial ground beside a public road, marked by a stone wall and overgrown scrub. It likely formed around the parish church later replaced at Bennetsbridge, and it still occasionally receives Catholic burials. The Church of Ireland building connected with that area was demolished in 1960, leaving the graveyard as one of the clearest remaining traces of the older Christian life there.

A roughly square graveyard (dims. c. 33m N-S; c. 30m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall, located immediately N of a public road. The interior is heavily overgrown with scrub (visible on Google Earth satellite imagery date May 2009). According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 486), 'The old Catholic parish church [KK024-031001-] stood on the site of the present Protestant church of Bennetsbridge, and was probably cleared away when the latter was built by Colonel John Shee, in 1795. The surrounding graveyard is very small and very old; it is still, occasionally, used for Catholic interments'. The C of I church was demolished in 1960 (O'Kelly 1969, 98).
