What is recorded here
Situated on a natural hillock. The foundations of a rectangular structure (ME017-014----) are in a D-shaped raised graveyard (dims c. 33m NE-SW; c. 22m NW-SE; H 1.3-2m) defined by masonry walls and with the straight side at NW. According to Dopping's Visitation (1682-5) the church was enclosed at that time (Ellison 1973, 8, 9). The graveyard was restored in 1998.
