What is recorded here

Grave is a buried chamber in the western marsh of Comeraportera Glen, recorded on an 1842 map as a small rectangular shadow but now absent from the living land. The water has drunk the stone and memory has smoothed the angle, leaving only a damp pause where the ground feels slightly deeper. What the chamber held has returned to the marsh, and the marsh has kept it without witness.

In marsh on W side of Comeraportera Glen. Shown on O.S. map (1842) as small rectangular area (L c. 10m; Wth c. 5m) and called 'Grave'. No visible surface trace.
