Graham Cantwell

Graham Cantwell was born in County Dublin on 25 March 1974, the same soil that later gave him stories about guards, callbacks and men caught between worlds. He has spent decades turning Irish life into film, from the shortlisted A Dublin Story to the feature Anton and the television drama The Guards. His work moves between Dublin and London, staging plays and building studios, but the through-line remains clear: he watches ordinary people under pressure and shapes what he sees into pictures others can still hear days later.
