Goat's Bridge

Three-arch rubble limestone road bridge over river, c.1750. Random rubble limestone walls with dressed rubble limestone triangular cut-waters to piers, and rubble limestone parapets repointed having rubble limestone coping. Series of three elliptical arches with tooled cut-limestone voussoirs, and rendered soffits. Sited spanning Little Arrigle River with grass banks to river.

Exhibiting a traditional construction in locally-sourced stone a low-slung bridge of considerable vintage forms an appealing landmark on a crossing over the Little Arrigle River.
