The *Glen Tanar* was a steamship built in 1917 and wrecked in 1937 near Girdle Ness, Aberdeen, in the North Sea. It was lost in a storm during the First World War, with no lives lost but carrying a cargo of coal; its wreck remains a notable maritime archaeological site in Scottish coastal history.
