George Salmon

Cork gave George Salmon to the world in 1819, but Dublin claimed him for good when he joined Trinity College at fourteen. He spent eighty-four years breaking mathematical knots, teaching theology, and raising children inside that one city, then died in the Provost's House in 1904. A man born elsewhere became Dublin through repetition: lectures, marriage, fatherhood, age and burial all landed there.
