George Francis Dillon was born in Dublin in 1836, leaving Ireland in 1861 to found an Aboriginal mission at Burragorang and later warn Edinburgh that Masonry waged war against Christian civilisation. He died in Rome in 1893 after Pope Leo XIII approved his book and funded an Italian edition.
