Gateway, c.1800, comprising pair of cut-stone piers with cut-stone capping, replacement wrought iron double gates, c.2000, and cut-stone outer piers having replacement wrought iron pedestrian gates, c.2000. Sited at entrance to brewery complex.
This gateway is an attractive composition of simple design that provides a fitting entrance to the brewery complex. The construction of the piers reveals high quality stone masonry, while the replacement gates have been installed in keeping with the original integrity of the design.
