Freestanding Flemish bond brick walls, built 1862, having broached limestone copings and a section of cast-iron spear-headed railings to east.

These walls form the boundary of Cobh railway station, which allowed for the rapid expansion of the town from the mid to late nineteenth century onwards. A textural and chromatic variation is achieved through the juxtaposition of limestone copings and red brick walls. The cast-iron railings add further interest to the walls.
