Screen wall, dated 1902. Screen wall forms boundary to road and encloses site with single-storey buildings. Ruled-and-lined render to wall with stone plinth course, Doric pilasters to ends and cornice. Curvilinear scroll surmounting wall with plaque inscribed "1902". Segmental-headed carriageway with horse's head keystone and timber battened doors.
This screen wall, with decoratively moulded carriage arch and Classical pilasters, was erected in 1902. It retains many original features including a horse's head keystone and decorative pediment. The ghostly outlines of raised lettering read "VETERINARY INFIRMARY".
