What is recorded here

Three stones stood at Annagh until the shoreline swallowed them, leaving only a map name and a gap in the grass. Dredging in 1996 pulled one red monolith from the silt, proving the beach had not erased the site but paused it. The sea keeps what it takes, returning pieces only when machinery disturbs its patience.

In pasture, to the E of Killarney town. Indicated as two adjacent standing stones, named 'Gallauns', on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. There are no visible remains of these stones.
