What is recorded here

One record points to a tall stone at Glanleam inside Cromwell's Fort, while another points to a smaller stone in a West Cork farmyard. Both use the name Gallaun, and both admit that people have stood before the stone for a long time. The fortted stone may have been shaken loose by weather or handling, then steadied with a leaning slab. The farmyard stone may have been moved, buried, or reset when the land changed. In either place, the name still carries a stone that people kept visible.
