What is recorded here

Gallaun is a 3.43 metre standing stone in Glanleam, County Kerry, whose base is braced by packing stones and a leaning slab. It stands inside a later earthwork called Cromwell's Fort, forcing a choice between deliberate inclusion or careless overlap. The stone has survived loosening, shaking and human indifference, while the fort lends it a newer identity.
