Gallaun is a low rectangular standing stone on a bog ridge beside the Blackwater river valley in County Kerry. It stands less than a metre high, with one edge tapering inward and the other rising almost vertically to a flat top. A ringbarrow lies about a hundred metres south, suggesting the ridge once marked a place of gathering or remembrance.

This low boulder-like standing stone is located on a N-S ridge in a tract of bog on the W side of the Blackwater river valley. It stands .95m high and is of roughly rectangular plan at base, where it measures 1.75m x .7m; E-W. Its W edge gradually tapers inwards, while the other edge rises more or less vertically to a moderately flat top. A ringbarrow (KE091-100----) is located c. 100m to S.
