Gallán stood in open pasture, sixty metres west of a levelled rectangular enclosure, until men took it away. PJH Hartnett measured the lost stone at 69 inches long, 27 inches wide and 12 inches thick, a massive block large enough to anchor a room or a memory. Its absence leaves a sharp edge behind the pasture, inviting wonder about whether it marked a boundary, a burial or a promise no longer spoken.

In pasture, c. 60m to W of levelled rectangular enclosure (CO062-137---). Removed. Hartnett (PJH) recorded stone measuring 69ins x 27ins x 12ins.
