What is recorded here

Gallán is a leaning rectangular slab in Cork pasture, aligned NE-SW and joined across open ground to another standing stone. It is the kind of place where people may have marked distance, memory or bargain before writing existed. The stones still keep that shape, waiting for someone to remember what they measured.

In pasture, on NW-facing slope. Rectangular slab (H 1.3m; 1.5m x 0.15m) aligned NE-SW; leaning slightly to E. Standing stone (CO085-096---) lies 140m to WNW.
