Gallán is a rectangular standing stone in County Cork, Ireland, marked Feb. 83 and named for John Sullivan and Cornelius O Mahony. It probably joined five other stones within about 350 yards, forming a scattered circle that forestry and time have thinned to one witness. The painted names turn a bare rock into a meeting place, where two men stood before it and made it theirs.

Not marked on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. In forestry, on W-facing slope. Stone (H 1.75m; 0.55m x 0.3m) is rectangular in plan, long axis ESE-WNW. Painted with 'Feb. 83. Stood by John Sullivan and Cornelius O Mahony' on one face; list of names on other face. Probably stone A of six standing stones (10089, 10090, 10091, 10092, 10093) recorded by Bowman (1934, 359) in this townland, all situated within a diameter of 'about 350 yards'; he also records standing stone atop possible ring barrow (11887).
