What is recorded here

One stone lies broken in pasture, the other stands upright inside a field fence, seven and a half metres apart on the SE slopes of Uctough Hill. They are not a grand circle or a named temple, but a small pair marked in Mid Cork, with another standing stone pair eighty-five metres to SW. That distance suggests a line, a boundary or a forgotten route rather than a single isolated marker.

In pasture on SE slopes of Uctough Hill near headwaters of Shournagh River. SW stone is fallen; it measures 2.8m by 2.4m by at least 0.3m T. Second stone, incorporated in field fence, stands 7.5m to NE; long axis NE-SW, it is 1.4m L, 0.4m T and 2.3m H. Standing stone pair (CO050-073001-) 85m to SW.
