What is recorded here

Laght Wood has swallowed Galláin and its companions whole. Six stones once stood within three hundred and fifty yards, but dense trees now block the ground entirely. They escaped the earliest maps and defeated later surveyors. The forest keeps its own calendar, writing over human measurement without apology.

Not marked on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. One of three stones (10089, 10091) marked on 1936 OS 6-inch map in Laght Wood. Inaccessible due to heavy afforestation. Probably one of six standing stones (10088, 10089, 10091, 10092, 10093) recorded by Bowman (1934, 359) in this townland, all situated within a diameter of 'about 350yards'.
