What is recorded here

Galláin is a pair of standing stones on a steep NE-facing slope above a tributary of Cummeen Stream in County Cork. The NE stone rises 2.8m, the SW stone crosses the main axis at 2.5m, and they stand 5.15m apart. Their transverse alignment suggests deliberate placement rather than chance, perhaps marking a boundary, a path or a moment when the land was measured in body and shadow.

SW stone is set transversely to main axis and is 1.05m L, 0.2m T and 2.5m H.
