Galdenoch Castle is a ruined medieval tower house on the Rhins of Galloway, built for Gilbert Agnew of Lochnaw between 1547 and 1570. Its L-shaped quarry stone walls still rise ten metres above the moor, enclosing a narrow spiral stair and a vaulted lower chamber. The western flank has collapsed into the grass, but the eastern rooms keep their shape, holding the kind of quiet that comes from being forgotten rather than emptied.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Galdenoch Castle as Tower House (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Galdenoch Castle was built by the Maxwell family in the late 15th or early 16th century. It is remembered as a historic tower house associated with the powerful Maxwell clan in south-west Scotland.
