In a valley overlooking a small stream, c. 10m NW of a ring-ditch forming part of a flat cemetery (KK023-155----). Excavated in 2007 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road improvement scheme (Licence no. E3616). A pit with evidence of intense burning on the sides. The fills contained quantities of charcoal and slag with large concentrations of slag near the rim. (Jennings 2009; 2010, 244-5, 919)
