Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Fulmar as Cruiser (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Fulmar was a British steamship built in 1899 and registered in Glasgow. It was lost in 1917 during World War I when it was torpedoed by the German U-boat U-52 in the North Atlantic, resulting in the loss of all 35 crew members.
