Mud, water, heat, and patience. Fulachta Fiadh in County Cork belongs to the old hunting kitchens where people boiled flesh until it surrendered. Three sites still mark the ground, though this one has lost its edges to grass and time. The kitchen has vanished, but the hunger that built it remains writable.
