Fulachta Fiadh marks two abandoned boiling pits in Mid Cork pasture, separated by a narrow strip of grass and shadow. Heat once hammered stones until water hissed and steam rose through rain, perhaps feeding hunters or filling jars for travel. The earth forgot the shape of the first pit, but charcoal still sleeps beneath the turf, waiting for rain or memory to bring it back.

In pasture, to E of stream. Burnt material identified under grass; not possible to determine extent of spread. Second levelled fulacht fiadh (CO060-01202-) immediately to NW.
