What is recorded here

Situated on poorly drained land in an upland area. An irregularly shaped, poorly preserved mound of burnt material (dims. 13m NE-SW; 8m SE-NW; H 2.5m), covered in furze. A modern drain transects the mound at NE revealing burnt material. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
