Situated on poorly drained land in an upland area. A horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (dims. 12.5m N-S; 11.5m E-W; H 0.5m); open (Wth 4m) to NW. A waterlogged depression (dims. 4m E-W x 3m N-S) occupies the trough area in the NW face of the mound. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
