Fulacht Fian

Marked only on the 1943 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, it is located at the bottom of a SW-facing slope on the floor of the Bonet River valley, with a small tributary of the river c. 130m to the W. This is a grass-covered, kidney-shaped, stony mound (dims 10.5m NE-SW; 9.5m NW-SE; H 0.2-0.6m) which has a trough area (dims 3.5m NW-SE; 2m NE-SW) at the NW side. See the attached view from the N.
