Fulacht Fiadh

In scrubland, c. 20m NE of well. Partially denuded grass-covered spread of burnt material (min. L 14m). Probably one of three fulachta fiadh (11155, 11157) recorded by Bowman (1934, 710) in Daniel Cremin's land. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
