Fulacht fia in Tuar Sáilín

On rough hill grazing, on the W bank of a stream, on the lower S-facing slopes of Coomacarrea and overlooking the valley of the Owroe River. A roughly D-shaped, grass-covered mound (dims. 4m E-W) of burnt material with its straight E side (L 8m; H 1.1m) facing the stream. The stream is eroding the E side of the mound where it has exposed heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil.
