What is recorded here
According to the National Museum of Ireland correspondence registers (1A/30/60) there were 4 or 5 fulachtaí fia in the townland. 'One was partly removed by a bulldozer - 50ft [15.2m] diameter and 7-8ft [2.1-2.4m] high nothing came to light except burnt earth, stone and small pieces of charcoal. Bottom of mound (1-2ft [0.3-0.6m) remains' (ibid.). These are unlocated within the townland.
