Templebodan holds a low kidney-shaped mound of burnt material beside a holy well in County Cork. Stone kerbing still marks its north-west edge, suggesting people heated water there for cleaning, cooking or ritual. The boggy ground and nearby stream would have made the site feel alive with steam, darkness and purpose.
