Situated on a gentle E-facing slope in marshy ground with several springs and small streams in the area. Two large fulachta fiadh and one smaller one. The largest (WI012-062----) is roughly oval in shape (dims. 13m E-W; 14m N-S; H c. 0.8m). The second (WI012-062001-), which lies downhill to the E, is roughly circular (dims. 11m N-S; 14m E-W; H c. 0.6m). The third, sited close to the SW corner of WI012-062001-, is very small (dims. 5m N-S; 4m E-W; H 0.2m) and has a hollow at the E. A fourth possible site (WI012-062003-) (dims. 5m E-W; c. 4m N-S; H c. 0.25m) lies adjacent to a nearby stream. (Information C. Manning)
