In pasture. Grass-covered spread of burnt material. According to local information, horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material, with opening facing well to W, was levelled c. 1982. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 654). The 1938 OS 6-inch map shows well to N of site. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
