What is recorded here
On slightly raised ground c. 30m to the NW or WNW of Lough Avalla. Indicated on Robinson’s (1977) map. Listed as ‘Fulachta fia’ in the RMP (1996), in reference to this and another fulacht fia (CL010-104001-) c. 20m to the NNE, and possibly a third nearby according to a map annotation by Tom Coffey (SMR file). Not visible at ground level during an inspection in 1999.
