Spread of burnt material (18m E-W; c. 5m N-S) on N side of field fence. Dry stream bed on S side fence. Discovered 1989 due to drainage operations. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
