Fulacht fia in Lissaniska (leitrim By.)

Lissaniska holds a low penannular mound, twelve and a half metres long, opening west toward a small stream in marshy grassland. Fire-fractured stones still scatter its surface, marking the brutal heat used to cook food or warm water beside the water. A rath waits one hundred metres northeast, suggesting this was not a lonely camp but a lived-in landscape where people returned often. The mound barely rises above the ground now, yet it preserves the exact moment when stone, fire and water met.
