What is recorded here
On a gentle E-facing slope in reclaimed pasture. Reported as a possible fulacht fia (SMR file). A faint grass-covered circular area (diam. 12m) is traceable which is level with the surrounding ground except along the E where there is a slight rise in ground level (H 0.7m). The landowner pointed out the location where he recalled a great deal of “burnt stone” being present. A second possible fulacht fia (MA070-027----) lies c. 175m to the S.
