What is recorded here
This is the record for a mound of burnt stone and charcoal flecked soil noted during test excavations by Margaret Gowen (92E0002). The area was subsequently excavated by Alan Hayden (Area 1; 93E0001) and revealed the remains of a fulacht fia. The full extent of this does not appear to have been excavated. (Hayden 1993h)
