What is recorded here

On a terrace on the SE slopes of Ailwee Hill at the base of a steep rock face formed by the stepped limestone pavement and close to a spring. A curving bank of burnt stone (12m x 4m; H 1.3m) with a central hollow facing the hill. It is partially overgrown with bushes and is wedged between two field walls. It is likely to extend under both of them. Another fulacht fia (CL006-213----), also fed by a spring, lies c. 25m to the SW.
