In a low-lying marshy area, stream to E, deserted house and associated outbuildings immediately to W. Possible fulacht fiadh indicated by a small oval-shaped mound (dims. 11m N-S, 7m E-W; H 0.8m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
