Fulacht fia in Canagullen

In hill pasture, c. 10m SW of a tributary of the Glanmore River. A roughly kidney-shaped grass-covered mound (10m NW-SE; 7m NE-SW; H 3.1m) of burnt material. The W tip of the mound is separated from the remainder by the channel (Wth 1.8m) of a stream. The isolated portion (4m N-S; 2.5m E-W; H 0.8m at W) is roughly D-shaped with a straight E side. There are exposed areas of burnt material in both mounds, especially where they are separated by the stream. Burnt material is also visible along a sheep path which skirts the base of the NE arc of the main mound. There is an enclosure (KE111-024002-) 40m to the W.
