Fulacht fia in Brookhill

This site, known locally as a cooking place, was levelled by ploughing around the 1960s. It consisted of a mound of shattered stone and was located in poor land, close to the W bank of Tullynascally stream. There is no longer any visible trace of the monument. A short distance to S, in an adjoining townland, two other such sites (KE065-035---- & KE065-036----) were also levelled at this time. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
