A fulacht fiadh had been identified during monitoring of groundworks for a residential development. Located on undulating ground near a dried up streambed into which one of two troughs was inserted and burnt stone had been deposited. The troughs were wood-lined and were associated with post-holes, pits and areas of burning (Larsson 2003, 180).
