A spread of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil was exposed during archaeological testing in advance of a large housing development and was excavated in 2006. Excavation revealed two troughs. A second fulacht fia (CO062-247----) lies c. 10m to the NW. (pers. comm. Deborah Sutton)
