What is recorded here

Masserine Abbey stood in Balloo during the late medieval period, a friary built for prayer and survival rather than display. Its stones may have shaken during storms or warmed hands during long winter evenings. The church claimed the sky, but the men inside still watched the horizon for danger. Faith and fear shared the same room.
